Obituary	PHILIP GODREAU DEXTER - Philip Godreau, 77, died November 19, 1992, at a Waterville hospital. He was born January 21, 1915, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Philix and Mary (Pelletier) Godreau. He served in the National Guard and then owned and operated a rubbish removal service in Dexter for 35 years. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter; a member of the Golden Agers; and a volunteer for Meals For Me. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise (Howard) Godreau, in 1982. He is survived by a son and his wife, Michael and Mary Godreau of China; granddaughter, Mrs. Jay (Jodi) Ireland of Fairfield; a sister, Mrs. Perley (Hazel) Williams of Dexter; a brother, William Godreau of Baltic, CT; and a devoted friend Winnie Bailey of Dover-Foxcroft; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated November 23, 1992, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter with the Rev. Marcel Robitaille officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
