Obituary	SAM W. COBB DOVER-FOXCROFT and DEXTER - Sam Woodrow Cobb, 58, husband of Cheryl Ann (Bridges) Cobb, died September 30, 1992, at his residence after a short illness. He was born January 14, 1934, in Heflin, Ala., the son of Sam and Julia Nell (Pitts) Cobb. He had been an employee of Dexter Shoe Co. and was a former resident of Dexter, moving to Dover-Foxcroft about one month ago. Sam was a hardworking family man and will be sadly missed by his wife of Dover-Foxcroft; his father of Georgia; three sons, Brad Cobb of Dover-Foxcroft, Gary Giles of Dexter and Frank Cobb of Enfield; a step-son, Raymond Cobb; two step-daughters, Terry and Rose; two grandchildren, Gary and Amanda; several step-grandchildren; two brothers, Don Woodbury of Albion and Billy Cobb of Belgrade Lake; many friends at Dexter Shoe. Funeral services were held October 4 at Thompson Funeral Home, Corinna, with Pastor David Kelly officiating. Burial was be in Dover Cemetery.
