Obituary	BASIL C. FOWLER DEXTER - Basil C. Fowler, 50, died February 17, 1993, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. He was born August 11, 1942 at Brooksville, the son of Clarence and Rachel (Bowden) Fowler. He graduated from Brooksville High School, Class of 1960. He was employed at Dexter Shoe Company until his retirement in 1992 due to failing health. He was a past member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and was an avid sports fan. In addition to his mother of Brooksville, he is survived by his wife, Hilda (Clifford) of Dexter; two sons, Bruce of Niagara Falls, NY, and Barry of Charleston; one Daughter, Jody Hardy of Harmony; one brother, Lloyd of Brooksville; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Priscilla Matthews. Funeral services were held February 19 with Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements by Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
