Obituary	ROBERT L. DOWNS DEXTER – Robert L. Downs, 76, died May 16, 1992, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born April 26, 1916, at Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Nathan and Florence (Mitchell) Downs. He served in the Army during World War II. He worked for the local Woolen Mills in Dexter for many years and later for the Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna until his retirement. He is survived by two brothers, Walter Downs of Dexter and Caroll Downs of Hartland, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held May 20, 1992 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Krisann Scheri officiating. Burial will be in Dover Cemetery, Dover- Foxcroft.
