Obituary	CECIL C. WHITE, SR. DEXTER - Cecil Clair White, Sr., 84, a resident of this community for 39 years, died May 9, 1992 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. He was born August 8, 1907 at Island Falls, the son of Miles and Ida (Landers) White. He was employed in several area mills and was also a farmer for most of his life. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris (Kimball) White of Dexter; 6 sons, Cecil, Jr. of Dexter, Carroll of Parkman, Gerald of Garland, Stephen of Corinna, Portor of Sangerville, and Sheldon of St. Albans; 5 daughters, Gladys Lombard of Bangor, Olive Tarr of Wichita Falls, Texas, Carrie Anne Carter of Etna, Glenise Koprowski of Belmont, NY, and Sharon Sissons of Hedgesville, West Virginia; 51 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; two brothers, Orie of Cambridge and Harold of Bangor; and one sister, Dorothy Rice of Stetson. He was predeceased by one son. Calling hours were May 12 at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter. Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, with William Gordon officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland.
