Obituary	CARROLL EUGENE STARBIRD, JR. DEXTER - Carroll Eugene Starbird, Jr., 78, died May 10, 1992, at a Dexter nursing home. He was born in Sangerville, September 24, 1913, the son of Carroll and Myrtie (Thomas) Starbird, Sr. He worked for more than 27 years for Fay Scott in Dexter. He was a member of the Abner Wade Masonic Lodge in Sangerville and a 50- year member of the Dexter Grange. He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Gerry) Starbird of Dexter; a daughter, Constance Clukey of Guilford; two brothers, Willard Starbird and John Starbird, both of Sangerville; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Calling hours were omitted. Graveside services were held May 12 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with the Rev. Sidney Buzzell of the United Methodist Church of Guilford officiating.
