Obituary	AMY MADINE PITKIN DEXTER and BRATTLEBORO, VT - Amy M. Pitkin, 93, wife of the late Clarence Pitkin, died December 22, 1991, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born April 8, 1898, in Marshfield, VT, the daughter of Bernis and Mabel (Loveland) Cameron. She graduated from Goddard College and taught school for several years, both in Vermont and Massachusetts. She worked for 28 years at the Brattleboro Retreat, one of the nation's oldest psychiatric hospitals, until her retirement in 1968. She was a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church and of the Pythian Sisters. She is survived by a son, Francis Pitkin; and a daughter, Irene Cochran, both of Dexter; a sister, Dorothea Lampman of Dunedin, FL; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one nephew. She was predeceased by one nephew. Calling hours were omitted at her request. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, December 28 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter, with the Rev. Kris-Ann Sherri officiating. Spring burial will be in the Eaton Cemetery in Marshfield, VT.
