Obituary	CLIFFORD J. PROVOST SR. DEXTER - Clifford John Provost Sr., 63, died November, 3, 1991, at a Togus hospital after a long and courageous struggle with heart disease. He was born May 14, 1928, at Dexter, the son of Maurice and Ruth (O'Keefe) Provost Sr, He was the proprietor of Provost Market in Dexter for 17 years and was president of the Dexter Investment Club. he was active in the Dexter Club and Poulliot-Seavey Post No. 53 American Legion. he was a communicant of St. Anne's Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Anne (Duncan) Provost; four children, Sharon Dyer of Greenfield, NH, Deborah Smith of Sebec, Clifford Jr. of Livonia, MI, Stephen of United States Navy, Naples, Italy; three brothers, Maurice Jr. of Garland, Shirley of Bangor and Richard of Sangerville; three sisters, Gloria Ramsdell of Dexter, Marlene Wiggins of Bar Harbor, Mona Gordon of Garland; eight grandchildren, Amy Pineault, James Dyer, Samantha Smith, Garrett Smith, Christopher Provost, Bradley Darnell, Andy Provost and Benjamin Provost; two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Hannah Pineault. He was predeceased by a brother, Roy Provost; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Smith. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated November 6 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Marcel Robitaille officiating. Interment was in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Funeral arrangements by Crosby and Neal, Dexter.
