Obituary	NEILAN JOSEPH CHEVERY DEXTER - Neilan Joseph Chevery, 68, died October 21, 1991, at a Togus medical center. He was born in Waterville, July 8, 1923, the son of Joseph and Louisa (Robichaud) Chevery. He served in the Navy during World War II. He retired in 1988 from Fayscott in Dexter, where he had been employed for 25 years. For 19 years, he had been very active in AA and his leadership will be greatly missed. He survived by his wife, Virginia (Hackett) Chevery of Dexter; three children Diane Tash of East Eddington, Wayne Chevery and Joseph Chevery, both of Dexter; four step-children, Jeri Merritt of Ellsworth, Joyce Packard of Newport, Connie Mayette of Waterville and John McKenzie of Dexter; two sisters, Jeanette Hallock of Vermont and Cammie Basil of Connecticut; a brother, Leo Moody of Winthrop; a beloved aunt, Elizabeth Daigle of Dexter; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Frances Bonzek. Friends called at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter, October 23. Funeral services were held October 24 with Pastor Peter Temple officiating. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
