Obituary
REGINALD T. GILBERT DEXTER - Reginald T. Gilbert, 92, died April 26, 1991, at a Dexter nursing home. He was born September 28, 1898, at Dexter, the son of Joseph and Mabelle (Clukey) Gilbert. He served in the 100th Infantry, U.S. Army in France during World War I. He was a local dairy farmer for many years and worked in several area woolen mills as an overseer for over 50 years. He was a communicant for St. Anne's Church and was a life member of Poulliot-Seavey Post No. 53 American Legion. He is survived by two sons, Douglas and Robert, both of Dexter; two sisters, Evelyn Pullyard of Newport and Zephrine Landry of New Port Richie, FL; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ellen (Ambrose); and one son, Roger. Friends called April 27-28 at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter, where the American Legion and VFW conducted memorial services April 28. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 29 at St. Anne's Catholic Church with the Rev. Marcel Robitaille officiating. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, where the American Legion and VFW will be conducting graveside military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Dexter Nursing Home Activity Fund, 64 Park Street, Dexter 04930.
