Obituary	MERLE C. CROCKER DEXTER and GARLAND - Merle C. Crocker, 79, husband of Ruth (Carle) Crocker, died June 16, 1989, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born in Dover-Foxcroft, April 17, 1910, the son of Clifton G. and Effie (Oakes) Crocker. Mr. Crocker was a retired auto-mechanic. He and his wife had celebrated their 56 wedding anniversary on April 18, 1989. Besides his wife of Garland, he is survived by one son and daughter-in- law, Melvin M. and Charlotte Crocker of Boca Raton, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty Ann and Barry Esler of Albion; two half sisters, Edna Cole of Dover-Foxcroft and Arlene Mihailoff of Margate, Fla.; one step-sister, Velma Butterfield of Dover-Foxcroft; one aunt, Alice DeMerritt of Pittsfield; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several cousins. Visiting hours and Funeral Services were held at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft with the Rev. James Lee-McPhee officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brann's Mills in Dover-Foxcroft.
