Obituary	RAYMOND E. "RAY" MOUNTAIN SR. DEXTER and KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Raymond E. Mountain Sr., 61, died December 12, 1990 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born June 22, 1929 in Biddeford, the son of Urban and Irene (Dewes) Mountain of Dexter. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Church of Dexter and was a member of the Cardinal Mercer Council Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree; a member of the Lords and Ladies Square Dance Club, the Shirley B. Carter V.F.W. Post #4298, the Pouliot-Seavey American Legion Post #53, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the National Automobile Association, the New England Business Association and the American Trotting Association. He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 13 years. He served in the U.S. Navy in navigation on the U.S.S. Phillipine Sea during World War II. He also served as tax assessor for the Town of Dexter in the 1970s, and was a well-known businessman in Old Town, Dover-Foxcroft and Dexter. In recent years, he spent winters in Kissimmee, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Jackson) Mountain of Dexter; his sister, Audrey Tibbetts of Dexter; five children, Irene Ellis of West Bridgewater, Mass., Rosalie Clukey, Raymond Mountain Jr., Timothy Mountain, and Elizabeth Mountain, all of Dexter; eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends called on December 14 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on December 15 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Liver Foundation, 998 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009.
