FREDERICK A. KEYTE Frederick Anthony Keyte, 87, died November 1, 1990 at his son John's residence in Ripley, after a long illness. He was born December 31, 1902 at Dexter, the son of Albert and Sophia (Carty) Keyte. He graduated from N.H. Fay High School, Class of 1922. He owned and operated Keyte Brothers Trucking, retiring in 1969. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Church and was a member of the Dexter Fish & Game Association. He was a constable for the Town of Dexter for more than 40 years, and served in the Dexter Fire Department for more than 55 years, retiring as assistant chief. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and follower of Dexter High School sports. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Claire (Russell) Keyte of Dexter; four sons, William, John, David and Peter, all of Dexter; one daughter, Margaret Sevey of Ripley; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends called at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter on November 2. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on November 3 at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Marcel Robitaille officiating. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
