Obituary	JOHN G. WARREN DEXTER - John Gilbert Warren, 63, died June 29, 1990 at a Bangor hospital, after a long illness. He was born February 14, 1927 at Lubec, the son of Milroy and Lois (Peacock) Warren. He graduated from Deerfield Academy, Class of 1945, and also graduated from Bryant & Stratton of Boston, Mass. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was the accountant for Fay & Scott Inc. for 21 years, retiring in 1985 due to ill health. He is survived by his wife, Idyllene (Smith) Warren of Dexter; one son, Paul of Dexter; two stepsons, Stephen Bassett of Brookline, Mass., and Edward Bassett of Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, James of Brewer and Robert of Bedford, N.H.; one sister, Dorothy Crane of Milbridge; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Annie, who died in 1971. Funeral services were held on July 2 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, with the Rev. Helen Zigrnund officiating. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Donations may be made in his memory to the Cardiac Unit of Eastern Maine Medical Center, P.O. Box 1102, Bangor (04401).
