Obituary	VAUGHN A. LANCASTER DEXTER - Vaughn A. Lancaster, 75, died April 16, 1983, at a Dexter nursing home after a long illness. He was born in Corinna, April 3, 1908, the son of Joseph and Flossie (Puffer) Lancaster. He was a graduate of Dexter schools and was a machinist in the maintenance departments of local woolen mills for many years. He was sealer of weight and measures for the town of Dexter for many years. He is survived by his mother, Flossie of Dexter; his wife, Alice (Getchell) Lancaster of Dover-Foxcroft; one son, Vaughn J. Lancaster of Garland; three daughters, Mrs. Keith (Elizabeth) Thompson and Mrs. Sharon Winchester, both of Saco, and Mrs. Nicholas (Martha) Pappas of Gorham; one brother, Harold of Dexter; 12 grandchildren. Private funeral services were held Tuesday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Dan Leet, of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Memorial contributions in his memory for the Dexter Recreational Committee may be left at the funeral home. Interment will be in Corinna Center Cemetery.
