WILFRED J. POULIN WEST WARWICK, R.I. - Wilfred J. Poulin, 59, of Bradford Court, West Warwick, a former machinist, died February 15, 1983, after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Theresa (Beaulieu) Poulin. A World War II Navy veteran, he was born in Dexter, Maine, Dec. 23, 1923, a son of the late Horace and Alphonsine (Giguere) Poulin. Mr. Poulin was a machinist at Electric Boat, Groton, Conn., for 20 years, retiring in 1976. He was a well-known citizens-band radio operator, using the handle "Little Horse." Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Jacqueline DeMoure of Lake Nebagamon, Wis.; four sons Laurence, James and Philip Poulin, all of Coventry and Robert Poulin of Berkeley, Maine; 10 sisters, Mrs. Marion Deag, Edith Garrison, Yvonne Willard, Alberta Bennett and Antoinette Hambrecht, all of Dexter, Mary Webb of New Brunswick, Canada, Jeannette Swan of Clinton, Maine, Geraldine Beaulieu of West Warwick, Elizabeth Dorman of Metheuen, Mass., and Loretta Farrell of Rodondo Beach, Calif.; a brother Mathias Poulin of Sangerville, Maine and two grandchildren. The funeral was held Feb. 17 from the Raoul G. Henault and Sons Funeral Home, West Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, West Warwick. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
