Obituary	MARGERY EVELYN BAILEY DEXTER - Margery Evelyn Bailey, 81, died Feb. 17 at a Waterville Hospital after a long illness. She was born Dec. 16, 1901 in Dexter, the daughter of George and Mary (Came) Bailey. She attended the Universalist Church in Dexter in her youth graduating from N.H. Fay High School, class of 1919. She attended Farmington Normal School and graduated from the University of Maine, class of 1925. She taught math for many years, holding positions in Abbot, Lee, and Bethel, Abbington, Mass., Danbury, Conn., and Winsted. Conn. She did graduate work at Columbia University, N.Y., and Boston University where she got her masters degree. She belonged to the Delta Zeta Sorority. She was a member of the Sebasticook Garden Club of Newport for several years. She is survived by several cousins, Robert Came of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Barbara Arrington, Dallas, Texas; Clifford Came of New Briton, Conn.; Phyllis Hinkle of Holden; and many dear friends. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Friends wishing may donate to the Sebasticook Garden Club, c/o Mrs. Lillian Burrill, club treasurer, Corinna.
