Obituary	PERLEY P. PYNES DEXTER - Perley P. Pynes, 85, died unexpectedly at his Free Street residence, Feb. 4, 1983. He was born in Sangerville, Aug. 3, 1897, the son of Oz and Belle Pynes. He was proprietor of the Dexter Bottling Co. for many years, retiring in 1971. He was a member of the Universalist Church, Anah Temple Shrine, was a member of the Shrine band for several years, and a member of the Penobscot Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra for several years. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Norwell) Pynes and one son, Philip, both of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Queenie Wilson of Dover-Foxcroft; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Sunday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Masonic services were held Saturday. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, in the spring.
