Obituary	PHYLLIS M. SINCLAIR RIPLEY - Phyllis Mae Sinclair, 68, died February 14, 1991 at Dover-Foxcroft. She was born July 24, 1922 at Hartland, the daughter of Albert and Edith (Whitten) Deering. She was a certified nurses aide for 10 years at St. Dominics's Nursing Home and at Bishop's Boarding Home, retiring in the spring of 1988. She was a member of the Ripley Christmas Club, attended the Ripley United Methodist Church, and was a former member of the Ripley Ladies Extension. She is survived by three sons, Vernal and Ronald Sr., both of Ripley, and Gary of Dexter; three daughters, Wilma Wintle of Dexter, Beverly Erving of St. Albans, and Bonnie Smart of Hartland; one brother, Maynard Deering of Hartland; one sister, Gladys Gilbert of Dexter; 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernal in 1974; and by a brother, Donald Deering in 1976. Friends called on February 15 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, where funeral services were held the following day with the Rev. Helen Zigmund officiating. Spring interment will be in Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, P.O.
