Obituary	ALICE R. PYNES DEXTER - Alice R. Pynes, 92, wife of the late Perley Pynes, died February 4, 1991, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born September 26, 1898 in Hallowell, the daughter of Bert and Esther Nowell. She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the Dexter Universalist Church. She is survived by one son, Philip Pynes of Dexter, and several nieces. Calling hours were held on February 5 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, where funeral services were held the following day with Pastor Alex Craig officiating. Spring burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
