Obituary	ZALA V. NELSON DEXTER - Zala V. Nelson, 92, died April 6, 1989, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital, after a brief illness. She was born March 15, 1897, at Mapleton, the daughter of Perley and Inez (Flanagan) Libby. She graduated from Presque Isle High School and attend Presque Isle Normal School. She taught school at Mars Hill until moving to St. Albans in 1918. She was a member of the St. Albans Grange, the Farm Bureau and also the St. Albans Christmas Club for many years. After the death of her husband, Burnes, in 1966, she moved to Dexter, where she belonged to the Sunshine Club and the Wassookeag Chapter, O.E.S. She is survived by one son, Phillip of St. Albans; one daughter, Katherine Boulier of Holyoke, Mass.; five grandsons, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis Wiers, May 22, 1988. Funeral Services were held at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment will will be later in the spring in Crocker Cemetery, St. Albans.
