Obituary	MARY L. ELLIS DEXTER - Mary L. Ellis, 68, died February 18, 1989, at her home in Dexter. She was born in Dexter, October 29, 1920, the daughter of Harry and Ruth (Fernald) Johnson. She attended Dexter schools and graduated from Dexter High School, Class of 1939. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter. She is survived by one son, Alan Ellis of Sangerville; one brother, Wendell Johnson of Dexter; three sisters, Pauline Johnson of Dexter, Phylis Miles of Northborough, Mass. and Jane Easley of Manchester, Conn.; one grandson, Alan Jr. of Dexter; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Althea Rackliffe. Visiting hours were held February 20 at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services were held February 21 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Judson Stone officiating. Spring burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Tumor Clinic, care of Mayo Regional Hospital, 65 West Main St., Dover-Foxcroft, 04426.
