Obituary	WLLLAM A. HASKELL DEXTER - William A. Haskell, 66, died September 28, 1988, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born in Garland, January 25, 1922, the son of Arthur and Marion (Cunningham) Haskell. He worked as a brakeman for the C.P. Railroad and also worked in several of the local mills. Until the time of his death, he was working as a sexton in Dexter cemeteries. He was a member of the Dexter Fish and Game Association. He is survived by three sons, Peter of Dexter, Michael of Harmony and William Jr. of Windham; two daughters, Cherie LaFerriere of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Priscilla Othuse of Bath; four brothers, Charles of Massachusetts, Lawrence and Sherwood, both of Dexter and Merle of Garland; seven sisters, Carlotta Pearl of Dexter, Charlotte McKechnie of Garland, Jeanette Langevine of Waterville, Henrietta Burrill of Garland, Myra Grant of Sangerville, Madeline Jones of Dover-Foxcroft and Caroline Clement of Benton; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a special friend, Maryann Helms of Dexter. Visiting hours were Friday at the Crosby-Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services were held Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
