Obituary	DORIS MARION HAMILTON DEXTER - Doris Marion Hamilton, 74, died unexpectedly at her home in Dexter, September 30, 1988. She was born in Dexter, 1914, the daughter of Ernest and Pearl (Hall) Vowels. She was educated in Dexter schools and had been employed by Dexter Shoe Company for many years until her retirement in 1988. She had also worked at the Dexter Boarding Home. She was the beloved wife of Marvin R. Hamilton and is survived by eight children to whom she devoted her life; four sons and their wives, Linwood and Sherrill Wallace, Raymond and Donna Wallace of East Corinth; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Marilyn and Orland Larrabee, Marjorie and Arthur Ganeau, Joanne Pease, all of Dexter, Beverly and Robert Colman of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Betsy Stone of Sebec; four half brothers, Ernest and Philip Vowels of Florida and Francis and Robert Vowels of Massachusetts; 26 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours were held Saturday at the Crosby-Neal Funeral Home, Dexter. Graveside services were held Sunday at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Pastor Frank Godley officiating.
