Obituary	CARRIE F. BRANNEN DEXTER and SCARBORO - Carrie F. Brannen, 91, wife of the late William D. Brannen, died July 22, 1988, in Scarboro, after a long illness. She was born Nov. 14, 1896, in Eaton, the daughter of Ira and Addie (Cox) Robbins. She had a been a former resident of Dexter, moving to Scarboro in 1969. She is survived by seven daughters, Alice A. Cooley of Montensano, Wash., Ruth R. Cooley of Zephyrhills, Fla., Christine I. Crocker of Portsmouth, N. H., Lillian F. Montgomery of Saint Petersburg, Fla., Audrey E. Hibbard of Scarboro, Irene P. Balke of Yalesville, Conn. and Betty A. Cross of Sumter, S.C.; two sons, Walter of Winslow and Wendell of Austin, Texas; four sisters, Lillian Masson of Hermon and Bessie Manley, Bertha Estabrook and Ada Rockwell, all of East Corinth; two brothers, Charles of Ashland and Ralph of East Corinth; several grandchildren, great-grand- children and great-great-grandchildren. Friends called at the Thompson Funeral Home, Corinna. Graveside funeral services were held July 25 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter with the Rev. Donald Goldsmith officiating.
