Obituary	GEORGE A BLANCHARD DEXTER - George A. Blanchard, 57, died unexpectedly April 11, 1988. He was born in Oakland, March 16, 1931, the son of Carl and Elsie Blanchard. He had been employed for over 40 years at the Fay and Scott Machine Shop, Dexter. He is survived by his wife, Thomasina, of Dexter; one son, George, Jr. of Newport; three daughters, Mrs. Steve (Judy) Perigo of Dexter and Mrs. Dan (Candy) Withee and Mrs. Albert (Sandy) Withee, both of Stetson; five brothers, Clarence of Tampa, Fla., Fred of Bangor, David of Ornville, Carle of Bradford, Irving of Bangor; one sister, Florence Stockwell of Pittsfield; 11 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends called at the funeral home Wednesday. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 14 at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter with the Rev. David Ray of the Stetson Union Church officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
