Obituary	LOUIS N.MOUNTAIN DEXTER - Louis N. Mountain, 96, died May 22, 1988 at his Water Street residence. He was born in Dexter, October 22, 1891, the son of Charles and Sarah (Groleau) Mountain. He was a lifelong resident of Dexter and attended Dexter schools. Mr. Mountain was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus. He was one of the old-time firemen and is currently holding the Sunshine Club's Gold Cane, having been the oldest male resident of Dexter. Mr. Mountain was treasurer of the baseball league in Dexter for many years and loved spending time at the horse track. He was an ardent bowler and worked for his uncle in the Buckman and Mountain Hardware Store and for the local U.S. Post Office. He is survived by two sons, Charles A. Mountain of Mars Hill and Philip L. Mountain of Niantic, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Cyr of Westfield, Mass., and Mrs. Cynthia Robinson of Dexter; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends called at Crosby Funeral Home Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
