Obituary	THELMA ROBERTS BENNETT VESTAL CENTER, NY - Mrs. Thelma Roberts Bennett, 74, died at River Mede Manor Nursing Center February 27 after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Bennett was born Thelma Pearl Roberts July 28, 1913 in Dexter. The daughter of Winfield T. and Esther Mabel (Seavey) Roberts, she was also the granddaughter of Dexter Civil War hero Otis Oakes Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Norris W. Bennett, one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Beverly) Butkowski of Tonawanda, NY., two sons, Earl R. of Vestal Center, NY., and Rodney of West Seneca, NY., eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several cousins. She is also survived by her girlhood chum and lifelong friend Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Stafford of Ripley.
