Obituary	FRANCIS M. THOMAS DEXTER - Francis M. Thomas, 73, died February 4, 1988, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born in Hartland, July 8, 1914, the son of Harrison and Amber Wheeler Thomas. He was a graduate of Hartland Academy, Class of 1932. He attended the Dexter United Methodist Church and was active in the Meals for Me program. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Ham Thomas, with whom he operated a taxi service in Dexter for more than 35 years. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Hodgkins and son-in-law, Delmas Hodgkins, and grandchildren David and Darlene Hodgkins. Funeral services were held Saturday at the United Methodist Church of Dexter. Friends called at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, Friday evening. Those who wish may make contributions in his memory to the Thomas Memorial Organ Fund in care of Mrs. Irene Wark, Financial Secretary of the Dexter Methodist Church.
