Obituary	ANNA MAE CLEMENT DEXTER - Anna Mae Clement, 99, died October 21, 1987, at a Dexter Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Canterbury, New Brunswick, Canada, July 26, 1888, the daughter of Frank and Marjorie (Payne) Elderkin. She was educated in Marblehead, Mass. schools. Anna was a gold star mother and a member of the Poulliot-Seavey American Legion Auxiliary of Dexter. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Clement, in 1978; by a son, Freddie and a daughter, June. She is survived by one son, Bruce of Tuscon, Arizona; one daughter, Rosalie Goulette of Dexter; seven grandchildren, Sandra Caruana, Brenda Lubrano, who made their home with her during their school years, Dolly Rankin, Fred McKenney, Debbie Cargill, David Goulette and Susan Vafiades; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Among many things, she will be remembered by her gentle wisdom, selflessness and love of her grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter with the Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Pingree Center Cemetery, Parkman.
