Obituary	HELEN M. DOWNS CORINNA and DEXTER - Helen M. Downs, 91, died July 19, 1987 in a Dover-Foxcroft Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clement Downs. She was born May 29, 1896, in Augusta. She was a retired school teacher and art instructor, having taught several years in the Guilford area. She is survived by one son, Robert Downs of Groton, Mass.; one daughter, Mrs. Haley (June) Merrill of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Furness and Mrs. Edgar Martin of Connecticut; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Monday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements by Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter.
