Obituary	ELMORE SAUNDERS DEXTER - Elmore Saunders, 75, died February 20, 1987 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born February 6, 1912, in Blue Hill. He was employed by Banton Bros. in Newport for several years before his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Florence (Lowell) Saunders of Dexter; one son, Walter Sr. of Ellsworth; one step-daughter, Laura Cook of California; one stepson, William Thompkins of Florida; two grandsons, Brad of Ellsworth and Walter Jr., of Blue Hill. Funeral services were Monday at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, where friends called Sunday. Interment will be in a Surry cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Cancer Fund. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
