Obituary	FREDERICK "LADDIE" WINTLE DEXTER - Frederick "Laddie" Wintle, 61, died February 3, 1987, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born in Dexter, the son of Charles and Marion (Clukey) Wintle. He served honorably during World War II as a pharmacists mate first class in the U. S. Navy. He was employed by R.C. Whitney & Sons in Dexter for 23 years. He is survived by six children, Carol Getchell of Ripley, Ella Laughton of Valdosta, Georgia, Donna Olson of Harmony, Capt. Frederick L. Wintle of Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, Beverly Mayo of Ripley and Alan Wintle of Hollywood, Florida; four brothers, James, Kenneth, Robert and Roger, all of Dexter; three sisters, Bernice Chambers and Madeline Bush, both of Dexter, and Becky Parkman of Glendora, California; 13 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Friday at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, where friends called Thursday. Interment will be in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
