Obituary	RUSSELL D. REED, JR. DEXTER - Russell D. Reed, Jr., 59, died January 4, 1987 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. He was born in Jamestown, R.I., March 7, 1927, the son of Mary Santos and Russell Reed, Sr. He was employed by the Fay Scott Machine Shop for many years in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Dexter Fish and Game Association. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine of Dexter; one son, Larry of Dexter; two daughters, Bonnie Smith and Kathy Ryder, both of Dexter; five brothers, Laverne of Georgia, Theodore of Belfast, Alfred of Dexter, Roger of Glenburn and Charles of Carmel; four sisters, Christine Lucy of Pittsfield, N.H., Barbara Davis of Etna, Letha Dodge of Dexter, and Lydia Moulton of Unity, seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Judson Stone officiating. Friends called at the Crosby Funeral Home Monday. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in the spring.
