Obituary	BEATRICE E. WAKEFIELD DEXTER - Beatrice E. Wakefield, 93, of 173 Main St., Dexter, died at her home January 10, 1987. She was born September 10, 1893, at Presque Isle, the daughter of William J. and Victoria (Churchill) Nelson. She was married to her late husband, Carlos Wakefield, June 16, 1915. She lived at Todd's Corner at Ripley as a child, attended school in Ripley and Presque Isle and returned to Dexter in 1971 after living in California for 35 years. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Guy Wakefield, of Wellington; two sisters-in-law, Nellie Wakefield of Parkman and Madeline Wakefield of Dexter; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, Tuesday with the Rev. John Palmer of Washburn officiating. Friends called at the home Monday. Spring interment will be in the West Ripley Cemetery.
