Obituary	C. LINWOOD SEAVEY DEXTER - C. Linwood Seavey, 83, died December 10, 1986, at a Dexter nursing home after a long illness. He was born in Dexter, July 6, 1903, the son of Charles and Lila (Wheeler) Seavey. He was a proprietor of a furniture store in Dexter for many years. He was an active member in the Odd Fellows, the Mason Lodge and the Dexter Grange. He is survived by four nephews, David Bennett of Tualatin, Ore., Stephen Bennett of Freedom, Joseph Seavey of Lisbon Falls, and John Seavey of Seminole, Okla; one niece, Connie Short of Cambridge. He will be remembered by a close friend, Gladys Kimball of Bangor. Funeral services were Saturday at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, where friends called Friday. Odd Fellows services were also held Saturday. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter in the spring. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the Heart Fund, in care of the funeral home.
