Obituary	BETTY SWAN ALLARD DEXTER - Betty Swan Allard, 54, died Wednesday, October 8, 1986, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born in Haverhill, Mass., April 3, 1932, daughter of Donald C. and Louise (Morrill) Swan. She was a graduate of Dexter High School, class of 1950. For many years, she was employed as a typesetter for the Eastern Gazette in Dexter. In 1980, Betty married Ernest Allard and resided for the past six years in Bangor and Corinna. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Danny Swan of Corinna and Airman David Swan of Dover, N.H.; two daughters, Roxanne Martin of Dexter and Rolna Works of Burnham; three brothers, William Swan of South Carolina, Fred Swan of Clinton and Donald A. Swan of Dexter; one sister, Margaret Swan of Rockland; four granddaughters and 11 nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday at the Morse's Corner Baptist Church with Pastor George Wardwell officiating. Friends called Thursday at the Crosby Funeral Chapel, Exeter Road, Corinna. Interment will be in the Morse's Corner Cemetery, Corinna.
