Obituary	ROY W. NELSON DEXTER - Roy W. Nelson, 77, died September 7, 1986, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born in Presque Isle, October 13, 1908, the son of Perry and Nellie (Thomas) Nelson. He attended Presque Isle and Dexter schools and was engaged in farming for many years. He was a member of the Plymouth Lodge of Odd Fellows of Dexter. He is survived by his wife, Irene (Pearl) Nelson of Dexter; three sons, Robert and Mark, both of Dexter, and Roy Nelson Jr. of Boston, Mass., one step-son, Randall Atwater III; two daughters, Mrs. Pamela Brooks of Dexter and Mrs. Ann McEwen, USAF, Texas; four brothers, Spurgeon of Dexter, Perry of Corinna, Earl of Hartland and Andrew of New York; five sisters, Mrs. Helen Higgins of Bangor, Miss Lela Nelson of Dover-Foxcroft, Mrs. Dorothy Towle of Augusta, Mrs. Shirley Campbell of Dover-Foxcroft and Mrs. Lois McKenney of Dexter. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crosby Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, where friends called Tuesday. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
