Obituary	ELLEN GILBERT DEXTER - Ellen Gilbert, 88, died July 14, 1986, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Dexter, December 1, 1897, the daughter of Amos and Suzanne (Clukey) Ambrose. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She worked several years in local woolen mills. She is survived by her husband, Reginald and two sons, Robert and Douglas, all of Dexter; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial was held Thursday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter. Friends called at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter Wednesday where prayers were said. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
