HOVEY E. HARMON DEXTER - Hovey E. Harmon, 62, died December 5, 1982, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. He was born in Lubec, November 15, 1920, the son of Edwin and Bertie (Ellis) Harmon. He attended Lubec High School, class of 1939. He was involved in the N.Y.A. in Dexter in 1939. He was employed with Fay-Scott for many years and became president from 1965 to 1972. He was director of Maine State Chamber of Commerce and served as vice president for several years and was an honorary director at the time of his death. He was a member of the Dexter Club and the Masonic Lodge, as well as the Classic Car Club of America. He is survived by his wife, Esther (orcutt) Harmon of Dexter; son son, Tom of Cumberland; two daughters, Mrs. Sharon Harrington of Indianapolis, , Ind., and Miss Cindy Harmon of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Joan Perry of Tampa, Fla.; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. today, December 8, at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. The Rev. Vicki Woods, of the Dexter United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
