Obituary	PEARL C. JONES SILVERS MILLS, DEXTER - Pearl C. Jones, 78, husband of the late Evelyn (Doore) Jones, died Aug. 17, 1982, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home after a long illness. He was born Oct. 6, 1903, in Garland, the son of Clifton and Nettie (Reed) Jones. He was a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church and the South Sangerville Pamona and State Granges. He had been employed as a foundry worker at Fay-Scott, Dexter, retiring in 1968 and was a member of the International Association of Machinists Union. He was also a member of the Golden Age Senior Citizens Club. He is survived by a son, Carroll of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Prudence) Thompson of Sangerville; a brother, George of Dexter; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home, East Corinth, with the Rev. David McLeish, of the Church of the Nazarine of Dover-Foxcroft, officiating. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
