Obituary	MERDITH W. MARTIN CHARLESTON - Merdith W. Martin, 48, died unexpectedly on April 30, 1982, at his residence. He was born in West Corinth, July 9, 1933, son of Andrew and Marian (Richards) Martin. He was employed by Dexter Shoe Co. for 25 years. Mr. Martin served in the Korean conflict and was a member of the Charleston Volunteer Fire Dept. He is survived by his mother of St. Albans; his wife Charlene (Scott) of Charleston; two sons, Douglas, of Lee Center, N.Y., and Scott, of Charleston; one daughter, Marilyn Farmer, of Edgewood, Md.; three brothers, Ralph, of Pittsfield, Andrew, Jr., of Hartland, and Harold of Pittsfield; ten sisters, Mrs. Agnes Dyer, of Garland; Mrs. Mattie Dunton of Bangor; Mrs. Rowena Smith of West Palm Beach, Florida; Mrs. Zelma Cole of St. Albans; Mrs. Zetta Post of Dexter; Mrs. Mona Lambert of East Corinth; Mrs. Nellie Cross of St. Albans; Mrs. Annie Miville of Pittsfield; Mrs. Gertrude Lawler of Connecticut and Mrs.Durece Beatty of Portland; four grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 3 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment will be in the West Corinth cemetery.
