Obituary	MRS. FLORENCE YORK DEXTER - Florence York, 90, died Jan. 2, 1982, at a Dexter nursing home following a long illness. She was born in Bangor, April 20, 1891, the daughter of Daniel and Daisey (Stimpson) Blanchard. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy York, who died in 1947. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Dexter Grange. She is survived by one son, Arthur Ellingwood of Whitter, Calif.; three daughters, Helen Dostie of Bangor, Lois French of Burnham and Bertha Stimpson of Brooks; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at the First Baptist Church, Dexter, with the Rev. John Dunn Jr., officiating. Arrangements were by Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter.
