Obituary	PAUL A. NICHOLS DEXTER - Paul A. Nichols, 76, died unexpectedly, Dec. 29, 1981, at a Dexter hospital. He was born in Monticello, Aug. 10, 1905, son of James and Eva (Perkins) Nichols. He lived in Monticello most of his life, moving to Pittsfield in September of 1959 where he lived until 1972 when he moved to Dexter. He worked for the N.E. Milk Producers Association and Yankee Milk for 22 years. He attended the First Baptist Church of Dexter where he was Sunday school teacher for several years. He is survived by his wife, Vera (Hutchinson) Nichols of Dexter; one son, James "Bud" Nichols of Dexter, one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Vesta) Porter of Hermon; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one stepsister, Mrs. Edna Downing of Smithfield; one stepbrother, Arthur Hutchinson of New Limerick; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Dec. 31, at the First Baptist Church, Dexter. Arrangements were by Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment will be in Jewell Cemetery, Monticello, in the spring.
