Obituary	Mrs. Mary Bane Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bane, 70, were held from the home on Spring street Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. M. J. Durost of the First Baptist church officiating. The body was placed in the receiving tomb to await burial at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were Donald Maxim, Linwood Bane, Norman Cain and Lindell Cain. Mrs. Bane died Sunday at her home after a long illness. She was the daughter of Henry and Lydia Dyer Ross and was born in Revere, Mass., April 23, 1775 [1875]. On October 23, 1897 she was united in marriage, at St. Albans, to Jeptha Bane and went to Corinna to live, residing there ever since, with the exception of five years spent in Dexter. Surviving are her husband; one son, Marshall Bane; three grandchildren, Mrs. Keith Emery, Mrs. Wilmont Grant and Mrs. Hugh Bane; two great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.
