Obituary	MRS. AUDREY LEWIS DEXTER - Mrs. Audrey Lewis 77, died Nov. 28, 1981, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. She was born in Ripley, April 6, 1904, the daughter of Charles and Alice (Additon) Stone. On Nov. 26, 1926, she married George E. Lewis at Dexter. Mr. Lewis died Nov. 21, 1981. She was a school teacher for many years, former principal of the Spring Street School, and at her retirement was supervisor of the Dexter Elementary School System. She had been active in the Maine Teachers Association and had served as its president for a number of years. She was also active as a member of the Dexter Public Health Association, the Boneka Club and was affiliated with the Dexter Universalist Church. Mrs. Lewis and her husband founded the Stonehaven Girl Scout Camp and directed it for 15 years at their Lake Wassookeag property. She is survived by her cousin, Ethelyn Ramsay of Bangor. Funeral services were held Dec. lst at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Robert Sterling officiating. Friends who wish to do so may make contributions to their favorite charity in her memory.
