Obituary	WINNEFRED COOKSON DEXTER - Winnefred Cookson, 51, died Oct. 2 1981 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital following a long illness. She was born in Dexter, Dec. 5, 1929, the daughter of Melzer and Ethel Seavey Hartford. Mrs. Cookson was a member at the First Baptist Church in Dexter. She is survived by her husband, James Cookson of Dexter; two foster sons, Roy Ogden and Gene Hallowell, both of Dexter; three children, Terry Thurlow of Savannah, GA., Melzer Thurlow of Dexter and Mrs. Debra Dearborn of Wilmington, Vt.; six stepchildren, Ronald Foster of Sangerville, James Cookson Jr. of Lynn, Mass., Mrs. Kevin (Bonnie) Stevens of Guilfrod, Mrs. Wayne (Ann) Margeson of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Edward (Deborah) McKinley of Leesville, LA., and Mrs. Jeffrey (Donna) Weston of Dover-Foxcroft; one step-brother, Lawrence Hartford of Dexter; 14 granchildren. Funeral Services were held at the First Baptist Church, Dexter, Oct. 15, with the Rev. Gordon Hemple of the Guilford Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
