Obituary	DONALD C. SWAN DEXTER - Donald Charles Swan, 74, died Aug. 21, 1981, at his Lincoln Street residence. He was born in Haverhill, Mass., Aug. 12, 1907, the son of Donald Swan and Florence York. He was a past noble grand of the Dexter Odd Fellows Lodge; a member of Penobscot Lodge, AF&AM; and Anah Temple Shrine. Mr. Swan was a former member of the Dexter Fire Department. He is survived by his mother of Dexter; four sons, William C. of Manchester, N.H., James F. of Clinton, Donald A. and David J. both of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Allard of Charleston and Miss Margaret Swan of Rockland; one brother, Arthur Ellingwood of Whittier, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Dostie of Bangor, Mrs. Bertha Stinson of Brooks and Mrs. Lois French of Burnham; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Aug. 25 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment was at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
