Obituary	MABLE AMES SPENCER DEXTER and FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA - Mable Ames Spencer, 90, died January 29, 1986, at a Fort Pierce, Florida hospital. She was born in Blanchard, July 31, 1895, the daugher of John and Ada (Cleaves) Ames. She was a graduate of Foxcroft Academy and Farmington Normal School. She was a Charter Member of Susie Carr Chapter of the O.E.S. of Sangerville and the J.T. Club of Sangerville. She was past president of the Dexter Sunshine Club as well as the Dexter Womens Literary Club. She was past regent of the Rebecca Weston DAR. She was also a member of the Dexter Universalist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Buxton of Dexter and Fort Pierce, Florida, and Dorothy Dyer of Fort Pierce; one brother, George Ames of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the spring with Committal Services following at the Sangerville Village Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Dexter Universalist Church.
