Obituary	DORIS P. AMBROSE DEXTER - Doris (Pooler) Ambrose, 84, wife of the late Thomas J. Ambrose, died January 19, 1986 at her Center Street residence. She was born in Dexter, August 28, 1901, the daughter of John and Hattie (Clukey) Pooler. She resided in Dexter all her life where she was a telephone operator for 25 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, St. Anne's Catholic Church Guild, the Retired Belles of New England and the Telephone and Telegraph Pioneers. She also served as ballot clerk for the town of Dexter for several years. She is survived by her cousin, Marion Fraher of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter. Friends called Thursday at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter.
